Description of Fault code P1900

ATFP-RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH

Possible failuer P1900

• ATFP relay failure ON
• The control line (for the ATFP) is shorted.
• ATFP driver failure

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• A malfunction is detected when the voltage increases without A ON command for at least 5 seconds.
• ATFP driver monitors and detects a malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects the malfunction, it will send the failure results to PCM.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Turn the IG switch ON (II), and wait 10 seconds.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• A malfunction is detected when the voltage increases without A ON command for at least 5 seconds.
• ATFP driver monitors and detects a malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects the malfunction, it will send the failure results to PCM.

MIL Status

• America/Canada Spec OFF
