Description of Fault code P1902

ATFP U-phase LINE CIRCUIT HIGH
Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Motor U-phase Line Circuit High.

Possible failuer P1902

• ATFP U-phase LINE CIRCUIT is open.
• A malfunction in ATFP U-phase LINE CIRCUIT.
• A malfunction in ATFP Control unit

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The ATFP Control unit monitors U-phase current when the ATFP motor is running.
• A malfunction is detected when no current in the U-phase lasts at least 5 seconds.
• The ATFP driver monitors and detects the malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects the malfunction, it will send the result to the PCM.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Shift lever position is D
• Warm up the engine, drive in D range, stop the vehicle ,and go into idle stop.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The ATFP Control unit monitors U-phase current when the ATFP motor is running.
• A malfunction is detected when no current in the U-phase lasts at least 5 seconds.
• The ATFP driver monitors and detects the malfunction. If the ATFP driver detects the malfunction, it will send the result to the PCM.

MIL Status

• America/Canada Spec OFF
