Description of Fault code P1906

ATFP HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT LEAKAGE

Possible failuer P1906

• Leakage in ATFP Hydraulic Circuit
• Loose or poor sealing of the oil pump with the ATFP motor

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The PCM or TCM detects the state in which the rotation of the ATFP is more than the specified value at least three times per one driving cycle.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Warm up the engine, drive in D range, stop the vehicle ,and go into idle stop.
• Do an idle stop at least three times.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The PCM or TCM detects the state in which the rotation of the ATFP is more than the specified value at least three times per one driving cycle.

MIL Status

• America/Canada Spec OFF
