Transmission Default Mode

Possible failuer P1780

• Transmission mechanical malfunction

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• A malfunction is detected when the PCM/TCM goes into default mode because of mechanical malfunction in the Transmission.
• (One or more DTCs are detected simultaneously which indicate(s) hard failure.)

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Other malfunctions are detected simultaneously, so see the appropriate DTC HELP for further information. These DTCs indicate hard failure.

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• A malfunction is detected when the PCM/TCM goes into default mode because of mechanical malfunction in the Transmission.
• (One or more DTCs are detected simultaneously which indicate(s) hard failure.)
