Description of Fault code P1785

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH VOLTAGE

Possible failuer P1785

• MAP sensor failure
• Signal line open
• Ground line for sensor open

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• A malfunction is detected when the voltage from the MAP sensor > 4.5V at least 10 seconds

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• The vehicle speed from the vehicle speed sensor for meter > 13km (8mph)

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• A malfunction is detected when the voltage from the MAP sensor > 4.5V at least 10 seconds

MIL Status

• America/Canada Spec ON
