Description of Fault code P2146

NO. 1, NO. 4 INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (Solenoid Injector case)
NO. 1, NO. 2, NO. 3, NO. 4 INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION (Piezo Injector case)

Possible failuer P2146

• Injector No.1 or No.4 high side harness (Short to power, short to ground) (Solenoid Injector)
• Injector No.1 , No2, No.3 or No.4 high side harness (Short to power, short to ground) (Piezo Injector)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• When the voltage of INJ+ and INJ- and the current flow during the injector driving are monitored, the abnormal pattern of short is detected by the injector drive LSI (Engine Control Module (ECM) internal) for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• During the Fuel injection
• Once each Cam Revolution

Clear Fault codes Conditions
