Description of Fault code P2149

NO.2, NO.3 INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P2149

• Injector No.1 or No.5 high side harness (Short to power, short to ground)
• Engine Control Module (ECM) internal failure (Internal short)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• When the voltage of INJ+ and INJ- and the current flow during the injector driving are monitored, the abnormal pattern of short is detected by the injector drive LSI (Engine Control Module (ECM) internal) for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• During the Fuel injection
• Once each Cam Revolution

Clear Fault codes Conditions
