Description of Fault code P1784

MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW VOLTAGE

Possible failuer P1784

• MAP Sensor failure
• Signal line short
• Supply line for sensor open

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• A malfunction is detected when the MAP SENSOR VOLTAGE from < 0.23V at least 10 seconds

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• The vehicle speed from the vehicle speed sensor for meter > 13km (8mph)

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• A malfunction is detected when the MAP SENSOR VOLTAGE from < 0.23V at least 10 seconds

MIL Status

• America/Canada Spec ON
