Description of Fault code P16A2

ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) INTERNAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P16A2

  • Engine Control Module (ECM) internal ROM, RAM, A/D converter function

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

  • The CPU reset cause is monitored if it is the normal power-on reset. (When the CPU is temporarily abnormal or the Engine Control Module (ECM) internal function is abnormal, the CPU reset done automatically is detected. And when the A/D converter is abnormal, the DTCs are also stored.)

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • Continuously
