ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) INTERNAL CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P16AC

• Engine Control Module (ECM) internal injector drive LSI circuit

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• When the injector drive time of each cylinder is monitored during the slowing down fuel cut, it is longer than a specified time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Ne > 1300 rpm
• The accelerator is not pressed
• Not in the Cruise Control
• The clutch is not pressed
• During the slow-down by the engine brake

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• When the injector drive time of each cylinder is monitored during the slowing down fuel cut, it is longer than a specified time.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
