Description of Fault code P1030

FUEL HEATER CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P1030

• Fuel Heater Relay (Contact stuck OFF)
• Fuel Heater High-side harness (Short to ground), Fuel Heater Relay harness (Open or short to ground)
• Power Distribution Detection harness (Short to power)
• Fuel Heater Relay fuse blown

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The Low level (0 V) of the Fuel Heater return signal is detected with the ON direction output of the Fuel Heater Relay for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• During the ON direction output of the Fuel Heater
• The battery voltage > 10500 mV

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The Low level (0 V) of the Fuel Heater return signal is detected with the ON direction output of the Fuel Heater Relay for a set period of time.

MIL Status

• Glow ON
