Description of Fault code P1033

FUEL HEATER RELAY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND

Possible failuer P1033

• Fuel Heater Relay
• Fuel Heater Relay harness (Short to ground)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• During the inactive drive circuit, the short to ground of the drive line that minute current can be drawn off by another diagnostic circuit is detected for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• IG ON (II) and when the OFF (0) direction of the Fuel Heater Relay

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• During the inactive drive circuit, the short to ground of the drive line that minute current can be drawn off by another diagnostic circuit is detected for a set period of time.

MIL Status

• Glow ON
