Active steering adjustment:
Perform adjustment of active steering after following task:
- Work on steering column
- After replacing the active steering control unit.
- After replacing steering column switching centre(SZL).
- On calibration on steering angle sensor.
- After replacing steering gear.
Precondition:


There should be no fault codes in following fault code memory:
- Engine control unit
- DSC
- SGM
Procedure:
1) Set the wheel steering angle exactly to zero for any wheel alignment.
2) Reset engine position angle(see fig.1).


3) Check the validity of steering angle sensor value ,If the value is lost then perform learning by Lock to lock position(see fig.2 & 3).
4) Steering angle sensor adjustment.(optional, if required)
5) Delete DSC fault code memory.
6) Calibrate engine positioning angle.
7)Clear all AL fault memory.
