Pressure Sensors are imprtant sensors for the Car and it is connected to the Car ECU to measure various values , like Intake Manifold Pressure , Barometric Pressure,Turbo boost pressure,EGR pressure,Fuel pressure,Fuel vapor pressure,Exhaust gas pressure,and Second air pressure, depending on the same measuring principals .
Temperature sensors used for engine control include coolant temperature sensor, intake air temperature sensor,and it is failure may cause fault codes in the Car ECU , and malfunctions with the the whole cars systems.
Air Flow Sensors are used in an electronically controlled fuel injection system to achieve optimum idle mileage control , and if it is malfunctioning or defected , it may cause serious fault codes in the ECU or the engine ,and may effect the Auto transmission too .
The position sensors provide engine load condition information, and play important roles for deciding fuel injection and ignition timing, idling speed adjustment, EGR control,and it when it fail it cause major Fault codes in the ECU of the engine .
Vehicle Speed Sensor gives the vecile speed to teh ECU to make suitable adustments for idling speed and it is cosists of tow types of speed sensors , Hall sensor and Lead switch type sensor , it may cause engine malfunction if if it was deffected or ECU fault codes .
knock sensor is used to detect knocking generated in engine and retard ignition timing , and Knocking may be caused by the shape of combustion chamber and accumulated substances, mixture components,the shape of intake manifold, fuel quality, air density and engine temperature. and the sensor is installed on cylinder block to detect vibration.
Oxygen Sensor is used to enhance vehicle emission control with post-treatment of exhaust gas technology in the catalyzers , and it will effect on the fuel consumption and control High CO and HC emission.
