Description of Fault code P2A00

A/F SENSOR CIRCUIT RANGE / PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

Possible failuer P2A00

• A/F sensor circuit harness is open.

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• Abnormal range of output voltage to A/D converter which is placed in Engine Control Module(ECM) is detected during 2 seconds.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Engine running.
• A/F SENSOR HEATER TEMPERATURE = 774 - 786 ºC

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• Abnormal range of output voltage to A/D converter which is placed in Engine Control Module(ECM) is detected during 2 seconds.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
