INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL (IMRC) VALVE POSITION SENSOR A CIRCUIT LOW VOLTAGE

Possible failuer P2016

• IMRC Valve Position Sensor ground harness open
• IMRC Valve Position Sensor signal harness short to ground
• IMRC Valve Position Sensor power harness open

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The IMRC Valve Position Sensor voltage is detected less than a specified value for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• IG ON (II)

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The IMRC Valve Position Sensor voltage is detected less than a specified value for a set period of time.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
