Description of Fault code P2006

INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL (IMRC) VALVE INCORRECT POSITION

Possible failuer P2006

• IMRC valve (Stuck, reluctant)
• IMRC Actuator internal open, short to power (Close side stuck)
• IMRC Actuator harness open, short to power (Close side stuck)
• IMRC Gate Sensor Power harness open and Signal harness rare open (Sensor voltage stuck)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• When minute current is drawn on the inactive drive circuit, the open which can't be drawn the current is detected for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• IG ON (II) and when the OFF direction of Metering Unit energization

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• When minute current is drawn on the inactive drive circuit, the open which can't be drawn the current is detected for a set period of time.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
