Description of Fault code P1536

PGM-FI MAIN RELAY CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P1536

• Main Relay (Contact stuck)
• Engine Control Module (ECM) power harness (Short to ground, wire error)
• Engine Control Module (ECM) internal (Main Relay drive circuit)
• Main Relay harness (Short to ground, mis-wire)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• When the Engine Control Module (ECM) power voltage is monitored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) internal after the self-shutdown process, the power isn't interrupted for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• During the process of the self shut-down (Afterrun)

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• When the Engine Control Module (ECM) power voltage is monitored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) internal after the self-shutdown process, the power isn't interrupted for a set period of time.
