FUEL RAIL PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE MALFUNCTION

Possible failuer P1086

• Fuel Rail Pressure Control Valve open side stuck

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The deviation of the FRP between the target and the actual is monitored.
• The pump discharge quantity to achieve the target FRP is monitored.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• During the FRP control
• The FRP control is normal
• The request discharge rate < a specified value

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The deviation of the FRP between the target and the actual is monitored.
• The pump discharge quantity to achieve the target FRP is monitored.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
