OBD II Fault Code P1063 :

Description of Fault code P1063

FUEL RAIL PRESSURE (FRP) SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW VOLTAGE AFTER IGNITION OFF

Possible failuer P1063

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
  • Return hose off
  • Fuel Rail Pressure control valve leak (Fuel rail pressure control valve open due to the failure that Engine Control Module (ECM) power Relay off is too fast.)
  • Fuel supply hose fuel leak (High pressure system)

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

  • The IAT Sensor (IAT1) in the MAF Sensor voltage is detected less than a specified value for a set period of time.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

  • Continuously

Clear Fault codes Conditions

  • The IAT Sensor (IAT1) in the MAF Sensor voltage is detected less than a specified value for a set period of time.

MIL Status

  • Check Engine Light ON
