INTAKE SHUTTER VALVE (ISV) ACTUATOR CONTROL MODULE RANGE/PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Actuator Control Module
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Actuator Control Module (DC motor)
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position Sensor A/B
• Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Body

Diagnostic Procedure using AutoHex II Scan Tool

• The deviation between the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) position target and the actual value of the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position is detected more than a specified value.
• The power current running into the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Actuator Control Module is detected more than a specified value, or the temperature of the Motor Driver is detected more than a specified value.

Test Conditions using AutoHex tester

• Continuously

Clear Fault codes Conditions

• The deviation between the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) position target and the actual value of the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Position is detected more than a specified value.
• The power current running into the Intake Shutter Valve (ISV) Actuator Control Module is detected more than a specified value, or the temperature of the Motor Driver is detected more than a specified value.

MIL Status

• Check Engine Light ON
